From an idea to your world
Describe what you want to create. MC Mod Maker turns your idea into a model you can rotate, inspect and refine before downloading your creation.
Start with a single item, weapon, block or creature. Bring a reference image, describe a small gameplay idea, or refine one of your saved creations.
Start creatingMade for your own ideas
Start with one custom creation. Best for personal projects, custom models and small gameplay experiments.
Design a sword, tool, weapon or decorative object. Describe its shape, colors and the behavior you want, then preview and refine it.
Create ores, building blocks and decorations with your own model, colors, hardness and light level.
Create a creature and request movement, attacks or effects. AI writes Java gameplay; try the compiled result in Minecraft and continue editing from history.
Create an item, block, creature or a connected set on supported versions. Each model uses block-style geometry with up to 80 parts. Complete vehicle controls, new dimensions, complex multiplayer systems and full modpacks require a broader development and testing workflow. The 3D preview illustrates appearance and actions; test gameplay in Minecraft.
A few ideas to start with
These examples use the same model geometry as the studio previews. Choose a starting idea above and make it your own.

Create in your browser, then use the matching Minecraft edition to try it in a world.
Describe the appearance and behavior you want. AI chooses the Minecraft creation type. Add a reference image when you have one.
Rotate and zoom the 3D preview. Review the appearance, attributes and available creature animations. Select a saved creation when you want to edit it.
Download a model, source files or a supported game package. Follow the installation instructions for your edition and test your creation in-game.
Choose the right download
Minecraft editions use different file formats. Download the package made for the edition you play.
Create blocks, items and custom mobs for the Java edition, with a browser preview before you build your mod.
Install the Minecraft Java 1.20.1, 1.21.1 or 26.3 version selected for your creation, with matching Fabric Loader and Fabric API. AI gameplay is compiled and still needs in-game verification.
Export blocks and items as a .mcaddon for Bedrock. No Java compilation is needed.
Bedrock export is in testing. Mob exports and custom attack scripts are not available in this first version. Game import and appearance still need verification on your device.
Before you create
What the tool supports, which files to choose, and how to bring your creation into a world.
Yes. Describe one item, block or creature and the tool generates its model, textures and Java gameplay. You can preview, download and refine it without writing code yourself. Larger systems and advanced compatibility work require further development and in-game testing.
You can browse examples for free. When the trial is available, verify your email to receive 120 free credits once, enough for one generation at 100 credits. AI prompt is free up to 20 times daily (UTC) for verified accounts. Previewing and downloading your saved files is free.
The browser studio works on mobile. Bedrock add-on exports can be imported on supported Android and iOS devices; this export is still experimental. Java .jar files require a Java-edition installation.
Rotate and zoom the model to inspect its shape and textures. Creature previews include supported idle, walking and attack animations. The browser preview does not run the Minecraft game, so test gameplay in Minecraft.
For Java, use Minecraft 1.20.1 / 1.21.1 / 26.3 with Fabric Loader and Fabric API, and place the built .jar in the mods folder. For a Bedrock .mcaddon, open the file with Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.80 or later and enable its behavior and resource packs in your world settings.
Yes. Upload an image as a visual reference, or choose a saved creation from history to keep editing its model and gameplay.
AI can write custom Java gameplay such as water attacks, knockback or status effects. Generated code must pass compilation, and the browser only illustrates the requested effects. Complex requests may fail or need revision; test gameplay in Minecraft. Bedrock export currently supports template blocks/items, with no generated Java skills.
